Cover: Hot corrosions of salt‐coated single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloy have been studied upon vaporized sulfur carried by flowing wet air. The corrosion thickness, after an incubation, linearly increases with the corrosion time. The corroded layer consists of a corrosion front dominated by sulfide scales and linear precipitate structures, an inner corrosion layer dominated by nickel sulfide and oxide, and an outer corrosion layer dominated by Ni, Co, Re, and W‐dominated grains surrounded by alumina networks. The corrosions are associated with the coexistence of water, sulfur, and oxygen. More detailed information can be found in: Hongfei Liu, Shuting Chen, Dennis C. C. Tan, Coryl J. J. Lee, Kui Yao , Hot corrosion studies of a saltcoated Ni‐based superalloy under flowing wet air and sulfur vapor ambient, Materials and Corrosion 2020 , 71, 1608 .
