Cover: The high entropy alloy carbide coatings (HfNbTaTiSi)C, (HfTaTiZrSi)C and (NbTaTiZrSi)C contain only biocompatible elements. Aiming for their use in biomedical applications, the corrosion resistance investigation at 37 °C in SBF solution revealed that the fine and compact morphology determined the highest corrosion resistance of the (NbTaTiZrSi)C coating. Braic , In vitro corrosion resistance of Si containing multi‐principal element carbide coatings, Materials and Corrosion   2016 , 67, 908 .
