The paper deals with a two‐electrode instrument for polarization resistance measurements. During its development and designing the last theoretical and experimental achievements have been taken in account. The block‐diagram of the instrument is described in details and the principle of operation is illustrated by a time‐pulse diagram. The possibilities of application and the measurement accuracy are illustrated by some examples of corrosion studies.
