Back Cover : Responsive nanogels for a combined photo‐thermal and photodynamic therapy of cancer are developed. Based on a radical precipitation method, a near infrared absorbing cyanine green dye is conjugated to a polyglycerol‐based macrocrosslinker and polymerized into a thermoresponsive nanogel network. Upon near infrared irradiation, the nanogels produced hyperthermia and reactive oxygen species that could efficiently ablate carcinoma cells.
