Back Cover: Tissue‐engineered cartilage constructs were fabricated using 3D woven poly(ε‐caprolactone) (PCL) scaffolds infiltrated with a slurry of homogenized cartilage‐derived matrix (CDM) and seeded with human adipose‐derived stem cells. Fiber‐reinforced CDM scaffolds and 3D woven PCL scaffolds maintained their cartilage biomimetic mechanical properties throughout the culture period, while supporting the accumulation of a cartilaginous extracellular matrix. Images show different cross‐sections of the scaffolds showing viable cells fluorescently labeled (green) and PCL fibers (all other colors). Further details can be found in the full paper by F. T. Moutos, B. T. Estes, and F. Guilak * on page 1355 .
