Leaders are too often expected to fulfill a heroic model: know everything, run from morning till night, and make all key decisions‐all the while maintaining their sanity. Of course, this vision has long been obsolete. What is needed, Taylor says, is not heroic leadership but “humbitious” leadership, which blends ambition with humility. He offers critical insights on becoming more humbitious, so that you can succeed as a leader without losing your mind.
