The authors' research reveals that leaders whose organizations achieve high levels of performance are intentional about making core employees feel connected to them and to the organization. They have learned to build bridges that extend the feeling of connection to the core of the organization. These bridges come in three distinct forms that together create a Connection Culture . The authors detail how these three bridges work, using examples from two vastly different organizations.
