MOST top executives pay lip service to their "team at the top" but achieve only a small portion of the actual team performance potential of the senior leadership group. Others, who champion a team approach at all levels, become frustrated that they cannot run the company more as a team. Both extremes are missing the point: real team efforts at the top of large organizations have performance value only when applied to legitimate team opportunities. Thought Leaders Forum: Jon R.
