In article number 1900052, Saifeng Zhang, Jun Wang, and co‐workers investigate the superior nonlinear optical performance and ultrafast dynamics of layered PtSe 2 and signatures of the transition from semiconductor to semimetal. The evolution of nonlinear absorption and carrier dynamics with increasing layer thickness demonstrate the PtSe 2 's promising potential in nanophotonic devices, such as in infrared detectors, optical switches, and saturable absorbers.
