Crystalline organicmaterials exhibit both vertical‐cavity and random lasing emission properties. A blue‐emitting, 1,1,4,4‐tetraphenyl‐1,3‐butadiene molecular crystal is investigated, whose lasing spectra show narrow lasing which are attributed to both the built‐in, vertical Fabry‐Pérot cavity and random lasing in a novel, surface‐emitting configuration. These crystals have great potentiality for the realization of solid‐state lasers exploiting various and hybrid amplification routes. (Picture: A.
