A hybrid photonic‐plasmonic crystal made of monolayer periodic colloidal array on top of flatmetallic surface is used to realize coherent fluorescence emission. By using a Young's double slit interference experiment combining angular resolved emission measurement, distinct fringes are observed to directly confirm the optical surfacemodes assisted partial spatial coherence emission.
