In laser texturing, a revolution is underway in the generation of surface structures and graining. In comparison to other procedures, this young technology offers significant advantages with respect to quality, process reliability, cost‐effectiveness and ecology. This field offers unimagined and largely unexploited possibilities for surface and product design.
