Based on an optimized chip design suitable for efficient fiber coupling, socalled tailored mini‐bars, DILAS has introduced a new platform of fiber‐coupled diode laser modules. In the following, we describe the basic ideas of the concept, together with the integration of such fiber‐coupled diode laser modules into a new series of turn‐key diode laser systems.
