Leiomyoangioma of paranasal sinuses: Case report

This is a case report of a leiomyoangioma in a heretofore unreported location, the paranasal sinuses. Because normally there are no smooth muscle fibers on this location, it is hard to explain its origin. It seems very possible that this tumor may have originated from the smooth muscular tissue existing on the middle layer of the blood vessels supplying the sinuses.
