I have been pleased and honored to serve as Editorin-Chief of this remarkable journal for the past 8 years. And now, I am even more pleased to welcome the new Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Samuel Selesnick. The Triological Society conducted a year-long national search for the new Editor-in-Chief. I was not involved in the process, but I was thrilled with their selection of Dr. Selesnick for several reasons: he will be an excellent Editor, but also because he is a close colleague and friend, and my Vice Chair at Weill Cornell Medical College/ NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York. Having the journal stay in the same Department will assist in a smooth transition.
