Hemangiopericytoma is a rare soft tissue sarcoma of vascular origin derived from pericytes, which are small spindle cells surrounding capillaries. Hemangiopericytomas rarely present in the head and neck, and only a few cases have been documented in the parotid gland. A case of a 28-yearold female with a hemangiopericytoma of the right parotid region is presented including the clinical, surgical, radiologic, and histologic features along with a review of the literature.
