Rate constants for the recombination reaction OD + NO 2 + M → DNO 3 + M have been determined in the falloff region (5–500 torr) and at 297 ± 2 K, in the presence of He, N 2 , and SF 6 as third bodies, by using a pulsed laser photolysis‐resonance absorption technique. Values of k 0 , k x and the falloff parameter F c have been estimated. Our rate constants were, within the experimental uncertainty, the same as those reported for the reaction of OH radicals with NO 2 .
