Disproportionation‐combination rate constant ratios, k d / k c , have been determined for R + RCH 2 CHCl and for the auto disproportionation‐combination of RCH 2 CHCl radicals, R = CF 3 , C 2 F 5 , and C 3 F 7 . The k d / k c for R = CF 3 and to a lesser degree for R = C 2 F 5 and C 3 F 7 were very sensitive to the surface/volume ratio of the reaction vessel suggesting a heterogeneous component for disproportionation.
