A step perturbation (concentration‐jump or solvent‐jump) relaxation method is described for studying the rates of fast reactions, using nontransient observation in a steadystate flow system. Therelaxation time is determined from a single measurement of an integrated relaxation amplitude. Remeasurement of the rate of dimerization of aqueous rhodamine B is reported.
