DOI: 10.1002/jssc.201900902 The cover picture shows the analytical workflow the authors used for the detailed aroma analysis of beers. The sample preparation step involved purge‐and‐trap, with analyte pre‐concentration in adsorption tubes. These were thermally desorbed in a (low‐)flow modulated comprehensive two‐dimensional gas chromatography system (GC×GC) coupled to time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (ToF MS). Because of the high‐density information, multivariate tools (correlation analysis, HCA, PCA) were exploited for the final untargeted and unsupervised data analysis. The chemical structures represents some of the unique compounds related to the fruit beer type.
