J. Sep. Sci. 2017, 40 , 1421–1426 DOI: 10.1002/jssc.201601085 The back cover picture shows the principle of the indirect Taylor dispersion analysis with direct UV detection for determination of the critical micelle concentration of surfactants without any chromophore using capillary electrophoresis instrumentation. This approach is based on the use of the UV probe, Sudan III, which diffusion coefficient is affected by the interaction of the probe and micelles. This work also introduces the determination of the critical micelle concentration by the indirect UV detection with direct Taylor dispersion analysis.
