Metastatic colonic carcinoma to the testes: Case report and review of the literature

A case of metastatic carcinoma to the testes from the colon is reported and 14 previous case reports reviewed. The range in age of reported patients was 18 to 76, with a median age of 51 years. The clinical presentation in most cases was testicular swelling or hydrocoele. in three cases, The testicular lesion antedated the discovery of a primary colorectal cancer. The majority of patients had other widespread metastases at the time testicular involvement was diagnosed. in older patients who present with a testicular mass or hydrocoele, The differential diagnosis must include metastatic carcinoma.
