A young Iraqi woman was treated for pathologically documented alpha heavy chain negative Mediterranean lymphoma (MTL). Fourteen months later, she developed entero‐vesical fistula. On reexploration, an extensive abdominal lymphoma was discovered. Pathologically, the neoplastic cells were true histiocytic rather than lymphoplasmacytic.
