Four cases of gastric stomal polypoid hyperplasia developing at the site of gastroenterostomy are reported. Their occurrence averages about 10 years following a Billroth II resection for peptic ulcer disease. The lesions may manifest clinically as tumor masses with gastric obstruction. Whether they represent an intermediate condition between gastroenterostomy and stomal cancer is conjectural.
