This discussion is based upon 205 autopsied cases of carcinoma of the pancreas. Sixty‐six percent were male, eighty percent white, mean age 61.5 years. Fifty‐three percent of tumors occurred in the head of the pancreas. Most lesions were moderately well‐differentiated adenocarcinomas. Pathologic aspects of carcinoma of the pancreas are discussed.
