An unusual mandibular tumor described by the eminent bone tumor specialist Dr. L. Lichenstein as a mesenchymoma is described in a seven year old African girl. Successful resection of the neoplasm and the eventual reconstruction of the defect six months later are described. Shortly the patient will have the splint removed and be fitted with a dental prosthesis for functional and aesthetic purposes.
