Tumor‐specific transplantation immunity was studied in three mouse tumor systems. A differential immunity was shown to exist between animals which had tumor cryo‐surgically destroyed and those having tumor surgically amputated. However, the difference was dependent upon the individual host tumor system. Further investigation into cryosurgical in situ tumor destruction is warranted.
