Six 4‐(1‐phenylalkyl)‐, eight 4‐(1‐cyclohexylalkyl)‐ and seven 4‐(1‐cyclopentylalkyl)‐2,6‐diniirophenois were prepared for testing against powdery mildew of apple (caused by Podosphaera lencotricha (Ell. & Everh.) Salm.) and other fungi.
