The hazard to workers handling parathion‐treated tomato and cucumber plants in greenhouses, has been studied by determining the residue of insecticide on the foliage and quantities transferred to the gloves of workers handling the treated plants. Figures are given to show that the amounts of parathion picked up on the hands of such workers are unlikely to be hazardous.
