The vitamin‐B 12 (cobalamin) content of the milk of ewes, on pasture with supplementary feeding, declines grdually during lactation. Individual values fell within the range of 1 to 6 μg./1., with mean values at different stages of lactation generally between 2 and 3 μg./1. In lowland and hill‐farm flocks the mean values ranged from 1.3 to 5.0 μ./1., with considerable variation from one animal to another. The provision of supplementary cobalt to lowland and hill flocks had no effect on the vitamin‐B 12 content of the milk.
