The effects on the moisture content, and on the concentration of the major nutrients Ca, Mg, N, P, and K in the soil solution of ploughing to different depths, and certain effects on the crops have been studied. A few significant differences are shown, but there has been no consistent trend, nor does any particular plough depth appear superior to the others as a whole.
