This practitioner written paper examines the recent phenomenon of interim management, its dimensions, its recent history and what the future might hold for it. Interim management is a branch of outsourcing that is rapidly becoming a feature of the UK flexible business landscape. There is an assumption that flexible resourcing at senior management level is good for UK business.
