The assessment of social enterprises and business organizations shows an “average” maturity level of sustainability management in Russia. The assessment methodology is defined along four dimensions of sustainability, including the three basic dimensions (economic, ecological, and social), plus the institutional dimension. The maturity level of sustainability management depends on the size of the organization and the level of project implementation, but not on the type of enterprise (social or business). The motives of sustainability management hardly depend at all on the type of enterprise in Russia.
