The paper demonstrates possibilities of observation and thermal dependency study of the absorption lines as a co‐product of Raman spectroscopy study in SmFe 3 (BO 3 ) 4 ferroborate. Raman spectra of the ferroborate were studied in a wide temperature range ( T = 10÷300 K). Temperature‐dependent absorption lines sensitive to the magnetic phase transition have been observed in Raman spectra at two spectral ranges.
