The lattice dynamics of a recently synthesized crystal of (NH 4 ) 3− x Rb x ZnBr 5 were studied by Raman spectroscopy. The spectra were found to be in good agreement with the crystal structure. Clear evidence of NH 4 group disorder was found. Ordering of these groups at low temperatures was observed.
