The resonance Raman spectra of MnO 3 F and MnO 3 Cl condensed at low temperature were obtained using a laser scanning technique to avoid sample decomposition. Harmonic wavenumbers and anharmonicity constants for the symmetric Mn–O stretching mode were determined.
