Excitation profiles of the Raman modes of pyridine adsorbed on a silver electrode in sodium chloride electrolyte of different concentrations do not agree with expectation from the charge‐transfer model based on the dependence of the maximum voltage on the incident photon energies. The orientation of the adsorbed molecules might correlate with the position of the charge‐transfer band.
