IR and single‐crystal Raman spectra of Te(OH) 6 · 2CO(NH 2 ) 2 were recorded and analysed. Vibrational bands due to OH bonds and TeO 6 and (NH 2 ) 2 CO groups are identified. From the spectra it is concluded that the TeO 6 groups occupy C 2 sites and the urea molecules vibrate independently in the crystal.
