Raman spectra of a single crystal of KInBr 4 (space group Pnna ) have been recorded in the temperature range 298–80 K and assigned. The overlapping of bands due to fundamentals and lattice modes leads to some complexity in these results. A force‐field calculation has been made to complete the interpretation.
