Relative integrated Raman intensities of selection of bands of liquid of liquid C 6 H 6 , C 6 H 6 , C 6 H 12 , CH 3 CN, CH 2 Cl 2 and 1,1‐dichloroethene (C 2 H 2 Cl 2 ) have been measured using the external standard method and a bivided spinning cell. Absoulte scattering activities were computed from these relative intensities based on the scattering activity of cyclohexane (7680 × 10‐ 9 cm 4 g‐ 1 per moleculey) integrated over the sum of CH stretch vibrations.
