Surface‐enhanced resonance Raman (SERR) spectra of a series of highly fluorescent complexes of ruthenium(II), 2,2′‐bipyridine and 1,10‐phenanthroline are presented. The effect of applied potential on the SERR spectra is discussed. SERR spectra of mixed ligand complexes can be predicted from weighted averages of spectral features for the tris complexes.
