A second phase transition in solid 1,7‐dicarbaclosododecaborane ( meta ‐carborane) in the vicinity of 165 K has been found by Raman and NMR T 1 studies. All three isomers of carborane are shown to exist in the solid in three crystal modifications, two of them plastic and the low temperature one ordered.
