The Raman spectra of five organosilatranes (R = H, CH 3 , (CH 2 ) 3 NH 2 , OC 2 H 5 and F) are reported. The normal modes of the cage are presented and the assignment of the Si‐N stretching mode is discussed on the basis of C 3 ν symmetry for the silatrane skeleton.
