The Raman spectrum of liquid tetrachloroethylene in a capillary cell of 20 m length was recorded and about 20 new second order Raman lines were detected in addition to the previously known ones. Using a rectangular cell the depolarization ratios of many of the second order lines were determined and an assignment is given.
