This paper reports the assignments for the lattice vibrations of single crystal s ‐trithiane and s ‐trioxane, using the Raman scattering technique. For s ‐trithiane, spectral measurements were made at 300 K and 30 K; nine bands were observed and assigned. For s ‐trioxane, three bands were observed and assigned from 300 K results.
