Raman scattering from polaritons in organic biaxial crystal m ‐dinitrobenzene has been observed by a photographic method. In order to obtain a greater shift of polaritons the directional dispersion of the incident wave vector has been taken into account, so that the polariton disperison curves over the range from 500 cm −1 to 3500 cm −1 have been observed.
