Part of the mission of The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) is to create educational, research and practice opportunities for hospital pharmacists, with the aim of improving the level of health in the community through optimum drug use. SHPA's Research and Development Grants Program is one means by which the Society can help achieve this. The purpose of the Grants Program is to improve, through research, study and demonstration, the techniques and practice of administration, planning, delivery and evaluation of hospital pharmacy services in Australia.
