This paper evaluates joint CloudSat (radar) and CALIPSO (lidar) observations of cloud over Poland, in order to provide the very first accurate analysis of vertical cloud structure for the country. Additionally, the study evaluates the uncertainty in mean values, based on a 16‐day revisit cycle. It demonstrates how the range of uncertainty is controlled by the time‐window and size of the area used for data averaging.
