The figure shows a T4‐related bacteriophage that infects pathogenic strain of Aeromonas hydrophila . TEM analysis of the phage belonging to the family of Myoviridae demonstrates the morphology of a phage in contracted as well as relaxed forms. This novel or evolved phage might exhibit a new host spectrum with activity against A. hydrophila , which potentially is useful to develop a biocontrol strategy.
