Two dimensional gel electrophoresis of heparin‐bound proteins from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii . Proteins were extracted from cells harvested during night‐phase and subjected to heparin‐affinity chromatography. Proteins with a high affinity to heparin were eluted and applied to two‐dimensional gel electrophoresis. The resulting pattern can be compared to, e.g., protein abundance during day‐phase (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
